APRIL GUILD NEWS

APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS
There will be a guild meeting April 17th, at 6:30pm at the Lincoln Ave Baptist Church.

The Spring In The Mountains Festival, sponsored by The American Red Cross of Cocke County, will be on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, April 27th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. If you are interested in participating, please download the application here, or stop by the Chamber of Commerce to pick up the application. Applications need to be returned to the Chamber by APRIL 18, 2008.

Our shoppe neighbor, Cheryl Querry of the East Tennessee Coffee Company, has invited any of us to share her booth at the Cocke County - Spring In The Mountains Festival on April 26th in downtown Newport. If you are interested please contact Cheryl Querry at 423-532-8041.
During this day, we should set up our own larger stand out back in our parking lot. If you are interested, please contact Ms. Lebar at the shoppe.

SPRING IS HERE
The time for Craft Festivals is ramping up so check our Events Calendar often for updates.
Barbara Smith is coordinating our own 2008 Smoky Mountain Craft Festival.

Classes have started! Bobbie Lovell has started her oil painting class, and Jan Harris has started teaching how to spin yarn. Contact us if you are interested in taking classes.

The shop hours have changed for Saturdays, 10am to 2pm.

There will be a guild meeting March 17th, at 6:30pm at the Lincoln Ave Baptist Church.

JANUARY GUILD NEWS

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Our little shop did very well for December, let's hope it continues.

Our shop had a little article written about it in the Newport Plain Talk on Dec. 17th, 2007.

There will be a much larger article Jan. 20th, 2008

There will be a guild meeting Jan. 21st, at 6:30pm at the Lincoln Ave Baptist Church (more room) Hope to see you there! We should see some new faces thanks to the shop.
